The Future...

well, it seems that in the course of a couple of weeks, my boys have gone from normal, ride around the block type kids, to avid mountain bikers! We now have skinny's & teeter totter's that Brian has built in the backyard for them to practice on...and way more bruises and scrapes than I'm used to seeing! However, it's a great sport...and something we can seriously enjoy doing together as a family. I even managed the skinny last night!

at the fair!

Took the boys to the 4H show and sale yesterday - we had alot of laughs! The fisheye lens & the pig really work well together!

I've been busy!

I also have rented this crazy fun fisheye lens for a wedding I'm shooting this weekend, and I'm having way too much fun with it - I think it will have to be mine soon!

Then, my wonderful friend Leanne came for a visit with her three boys - from England! And we've just been having way too much fun - with our FIVE boys! They left tonight - and I'll miss them so much...

And wow...can't believe I've been so bad at updating my blog

First of all, Brian's dad is here, and turned 74 last week - how great does he look?

too much fun!

yep...I've been neglecting my blog - as we've been having too much fun hanging out at the cabin. The boys are having a great summer, they're all swimming like fish these days, Griffin especially has turned into such a swimmer. We took the slide off of the swingset at home, and attached it to the dock, so that provides some entertainment. We also got a great deal from our neighbor, and bought his water trampoline, which is great fun for all of us! Oh...and don't all kids ride bikes in the water?

As you can see, Tucker enjoys hanging out by the fire with us - it's just a shame that he doesn't actually fit on the chair, and has to rest a paw on the ground!

Just a few snapshots, nothing too special!

If one day you feel like crying...
Call me.
I don't promise that
I will make you laugh,
But I can cry with you.

If one day you want to run away...
Don't be afraid to call me.
I don't promise to ask you to stop...
But I can run with you.

If one day you don't want to listen to anyone...
Call me.
I promise to be there for you.
And I promise to be very quiet.

But if one day you call...
And there is no answer.
Come fast to see me...
Maybe I need you.

There's nothing better than a lifelong friend...

hanging out...

I've been a bad there's just not alot new to report! We've just been enjoying being home, with nothing that has to be done, and nowhere we have to go. Staying in our jammies until know - what summer holidays are all about! Next week, the boys are in a karate camp, and the week after that, my friend from England and her two sons are coming for a visit - so, we're just taking advantage of our downtime right now...
