The Look...
Parker is into the fashion scene right now...and this hat is his must have accessory! When I first bought it, I thought it was pretty cool...but, now that it rarely leaves his head - I'm beginning to have second thoughts. Anyways - sometimes it hits me when I'm looking at a photo of him...how quickly he's growing up, and I just want to hit pause...
This one time, at band camp...
Keats just finished a week at the Gavin Lake Fiddle Treat. His fiddling is coming along so well...it's so fun to see how well he's doing, and how much he enjoys it! Brian also signed up for camp this year, and did a week of guitar lessons. They both had a great time (okay - aside from the ridiculous amount of black flies). Parker, Griff and I went out and spent the night with them on Thursday, and watched the awesome finale concert on friday evening. Safe to say, a good time was had by all!
The boys also made great friends with the camp managers boys...and had a great time exploring all the fun hideouts the boys have made...

Bon Voyage...
Had to use the title, as the photo fit so well!
We said a fond farewell to San Fransisco, after a quick boat tour, and a couple of stops in some last minute stores and an amazing bakery called Boudin...and headed north up to Eureka, where we are tonight. The redwoods are amazing - I'm so glad we got to see them! Got some pretty cool photos...
For the next couple of nights, we'll be staying in state parks - so I may not have any updates for a few days - I'll try though!
It's chilly here - only about 17 degrees...

Day 2 in San Fransisco...
It would be hard to fit much more into a day than we did today! After breakfast, we got on a cable car...and our first stop was Chinatown (very fun!). We then got back on and checked out Union Square, which was wonderful - if only I could've had a few more days to shop there...it was the baseball All Star game here today, so there were tons of things going on. The boys found a playstation display, where if they could get three strikes, they won a free shirt (we have four new shirts!). Then we went to the Museum of Modern Art (which happenned to have an amazing photography display)...and finally a heritage trolley car back to Fisherman's Wharf. Needless to say, the boys fell asleep rather quickly tonight. I'm sad to be leaving this beautiful city - but do know that one day I definately want to come back! I took tons of photos today - here's a few...
